The British Medical Association (BMA) has employed the FM consultancy division of property and construction practice Pellings to support a major review of its estates and FM strategy and operations, and implement new and smarter working methods.
It forms a key part of a wider review strategy being undertaken by the BMA to refine and transform its business processes to maximise efficiency, and deliver cost savings of £1m per annum across various parts of its organisation.
Pellings, reporting to the BMAs senior executive team, will consider the BMA's existing practices and different options to drive efficiencies. It will include more refined working practices across its estate, and other FM functions in order to achieve best value for money.
Mr Pat Murphy, interim finance director of the BMA commented: "I am delighted with the progress being made here and look forward to continuing to engage with Pellings to support the BMA in transforming our service delivery in estate management."
