Overview
The project at The Ivory House, St Katharine Docks entailed the refurbishment of 23 luxury apartments in order to maximise sale values.
Our duties included drafting and tendering the agreed Specification, Contract Administration, CDM Co-ordinator and Clerk of Works appointments.
We attended weekly marketing meetings with the Client and their Agents in order to incorporate and develop feedback from marketing campaigns and potential purchasers.
This was a 36 week contract, leading to 100% sales success.
The Ivory House has featured as a backdrop in various TV programmes and films including The Sweeney and The Long Good Friday amongst others.
The contract sum and final account was circa £1.2 million with contracts for individual flats ranging from full remodelling and fit out at £150,000 to interior refurbishment at £25,000. Individual flats achieved sales values of up to £2m.
Subsequently, we have been appointed as Architects, Interior Designers, Surveyors and Project Managers by a celebrity client for a lateral conversion of two existing flats within Ivory House.
